Gibraltar

After a day at sea on the ship we arrived in Gibraltar. Here is the Rock of Gibraltar:

There is a cable car that goes to the top but Brian and I decided to hike up it. There are some people that live up there and Gibraltar is part of the United Kingdom so I got to see a Harry and Meghan flag. (This was 3 days before the Royal Wedding so I thought it was really cool.)

Part of the way up we took a trail that is on the map but the trail is not very wide and we saw a little bit more nature than I wanted to (a snake) on the trail as well as a rooster.

Near the upper part of the rock there are many Barbary macaques. The wild monkeys will walk right up to people to steal items and jump on top of taxis as they go by.

There were nice views from the top of the Rock.

We took a different way down the Rock that has a suspension bridge. Brian went on the suspension bridge and I walked around it. (I had enough suspension bridge excitement in Vancouver. A post about the Alaska trip that included Vancouver will be made.)

In the below picture in the center, a little hazy, is Morocco.

As the ship was leaving we got some more views of the Rock.
