6/3/18: The first Sunday of each month is a magical time in Italy; on that day, every state museum offers free admission for everyone. We take advantage of this deal to save ourselves €68, and take in famous sights such as Michelangelo’s David and paintings from Leonardo da Vinci.
6/4/18: We hop on a train for a day-trip to nearby Pisa, Italy today. Learn more about The Leaning Tower of Pisa in this post, and check out some of our pictures from the climb to the top.
5/31/18: For some of the most breathtaking views of Florence, be sure to check out sunset at Piazzale Michelangelo. With beautiful views, several landmarks, and small tourist shops and gelato at the top, it’s a great no-cost option and a only a short stroll from downtown Florence.
