Maui
Dec. 1-2, 2018: on the weekend in between our two weeks of teaching on Oahu, we were able to island-hop over to Maui. Lava tubes, distilleries, wineries, and scenic drives were some of our weekend adventures in Maui.

Nov. 26 – Dec. 7: we taught a STEM class and did a water bottle rocket design project for two weeks while on Oahu. Check out some of the sights we visited during our free time.
In 2017, Brian was asked to teach for one week at the Maryknoll school in Hawaii. We visited Oahu for one week and stayed in Honolulu, prior to our two-week stay and teaching in 2018.
Nov. 20-25, 2018: After a brief stop in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving, it was on to the first of the four Hawaiian islands we would visit – Kaua’i!
Nov. 16-19, 2018: Our next stop during our US travels was Seattle, Washington! We visited friends, enjoyed a delicious Friendsgiving dinner, and toured Seattle before moving on to our final stop in the continental US.
Nov. 13-15, 2018: After Tulsa, we continued on to Music City – Nashville, TN! What could be better than accidentally planning our few days there to overlap with the CMA Awards – the epitome of country music in Nashville!
