Dec. 15-31, 2018: Our first stop in Australia was a small town just outside of Brisbane. We watched a cat named Bibi and were able to take several day-trips to nearby areas. Come explore some of the areas around Brisbane with us in today’s post!
As 2018 comes to a close, we wrapped up teaching in Hawaii before heading to Australia. Despite spending the entire month at two destinations that many people have on their bucket list, we were able to do it and come in $1700 under budget.
Ho..ho..ho – Merry Christmas! While we may be down under, where the sun is shining and it’s 80 degrees, Brisbane still knows how to celebrate this wonderful holiday.
Dec. 8-11, 2018: After we wrapped up our two weeks of teaching on Oahu, we decided to visit the Big Island of Hawaii before heading to Australia. Wines, volcanoes, and other awesome adventures await!
Dec. 1-2, 2018: on the weekend in between our two weeks of teaching on Oahu, we were able to island-hop over to Maui. Lava tubes, distilleries, wineries, and scenic drives were some of our weekend adventures in Maui.
