Oct. 4-8, 2018: Our first stop when we returned to the US was Los Angeles, prior to our Panama Canal cruise. We visit our friends Bryan and Diana for the weekend, and were treated to a special treat – the Falcon 9 rocket launch!
Sept. 28 – Oct. 4, 2018: After spending five months in western and northern Europe, we finally departed to continue on our journey. The next stop – Cyprus!
Sept. 27, 2018 – Planpraz is a mountain in Chamonix, France. We had a crystal clear day for our hike, with amazing views from the top!
Sept. 25, 2018: We took a train up the mountain in Chamonix and visited the famous glacier and ice cave, “Mer de Glace”. Following the glacier, we had a fantastic hike along the ridge overlooking Chamonix.
Sept. 21-27, 2018: Chamonix, France! Although this picturesque town is better known for being a winter ski haven, we decided to spend a week and enjoy the beautiful hikes and scenery that Chamonix has to offer.
Sept. 16-20, 2018: Laffrey, France housesit. As we stayed in the beautiful countryside of France, we were able to take in several hikes with amazing views.
