March 2-7, 2019: Our first stop on the South Island of New Zealand was Christchurch. After arriving from Australia, we met up with our friend Mark. During the week in Christchurch, we visited museums, did some wine tastings, and went on various hikes.

Feb. 17, 2019 – Wellington, New Zealand. Running races, museums, hikes, and more were highlights during our cruise port stop in Wellington.
Feb. 16, 2019: Picton, New Zealand was the next stop on our agenda. We were able to walk around town and get some fantastic views from a relatively short hike.
Feb. 15, 2019: Next stop, Napier! We ventured to the aquarium, museum, and even got to be spectators for a surprise festival that was in town. Check it all out in today’s post!
Feb. 13, 2019: We “hired” a car for the day (as the Aussies and Kiwis say) to drive around Tauranga, New Zealand. Check out some of the sights (and wines) that Tauranga had to offer.
