June 2018: With our second month of international travel under our belts, we have come in at $100 under our budget for the month. Despite having some of our more expensive stops – such as Norway – this month, we met our overall budget and will share some lessons and thoughts in today’s post.
May 2018: We can’t believe the first month has already come and gone! Overall, we were right on target for the first month, under-running our $5221 monthly budget by $180. Check out the detailed post for lessons learned and a deeper dive in to the numbers.
Over our entire year of travel, we plan to open up all of our travel finances to our blog followers. We will show you how we plan to spend half as much over the next year as we did when living frugally at home in NH, and give some practical tips for saving on both shorter vacations as well as long-term travel.
