7/1/18-7/2/18: after departing Visby, Sweden by ferry, we then caught a train up to Stockholm. Our train from Stockholm to Lund was supposed to be four hours, but turned in to twelve hours of us playing musical trains as we switched from one to another to another. Follow along as we detail the train ride and our first day in Lund, Sweden.
6/28/18-7/1/18: Visby, Sweden, is a quaint, medieval town located on the island of Gotland off mainland Sweden. Surrounded by the original medieval wall and with cobblestone streets, it was a very beautiful and relaxing stop. Check out some more details of our visit to Visby in today’s post.
6/23/18-6/28/18: wrapping up our time in Oslo, Norway, we tour various gardens, palaces, fortresses, and other landmarks. After Norway, it is on to Sweden!
6/25/18-6/26/18: The Oslo Pass is a 24-hour pass that allows free entry to 30 Norwegian museums, as well as free transportation and other discounts. We more than got our value as we toured several museums over the course of two days.
6/22/18: A short walk from downtown Bergen, you can quickly climb the mountains and get some spectacular views of the city. Although our hike had to be modified last minute due to high winds, we still took in some excellent sights and had a great day-hike in Bergen.
