March 2-7, 2019: Our first stop on the South Island of New Zealand was Christchurch. After arriving from Australia, we met up with our friend Mark. During the week in Christchurch, we visited museums, did some wine tastings, and went on various hikes.
Feb. 28 – March 1, 2019 – at last, our cruise came to an end near Perth, on the western coast of Australia. We toured the very interesting Perth Mint and several wineries, before finally heading to the airport to fly back to New Zealand for the month of March.
Feb. 24, 2019 – Adelaide, Australia was our next stop on the Celebrity Solstice. We checked out some gardens and wine bars before heading back to the ship. Today, we will also cover some of the other on-board shows and stories from our 16-night cruise.
Feb. 22, 2019 – The next stop on our cruise was to the island that the Tasmanian Devil calls home. We spent the day in the city of Hobart, Tasmania, walking around, sampling wines, and visiting museums.
Feb. 20, 2019: In case you can’t already tell from this week’s picture of the Opera House, our next port was the world-famous city of Sydney, Australia! Although it was a rainy day, we were able to walk around the city and hit the major sights that we wanted to see.
